This sounds like such a cool story! The premise is very exciting and as I mentioned in one of the comments, THE GHOST BRIDE is one of my favorite books and I love the idea of a children's version of that. However, I wasn't sure from the pitch why BORN OF INK AND CLOUD is YA. The tone sounded more on the upper MG side to me, and I didn't see anything about mature content or romantic relationships that would indicate something in the YA genre to me.
Besides that, the query itself is pretty clean—there were some tweaks that I made to the language and a few questions, but overall, you're in great shape! I hope my critique is helpful as you continue on your submission journey and wish you the best of luck!!
